I'm thinking of the next good army to start working on and I really like the models for warriors of dale? I'm thinking of having a dale/erebor force but want to know if the warriors of dale are any good? And what type of leaders they have atm?

Uh......from what I remember and we cant say stats....their heros, captains, and troops are all very weak except for Bard........

If you really want to use them go ahead and make sure you use more Erebor than dale......

Bard comes under the Laketown list so he cannot lead Dale warriors. I love the models and have bought 2 boxes of dale to ally in with my Erebor army. I tend to use the bowmen quite a bit to get cheap ranged weapons. The only downside is Girion can only be taken under the Garrison of Dale army list but not the Army of Thror list...which kinda makes him useless if you want to have him leading bowmen (like me).
The standard captains are very good, they share the same FV as the dwarf captain.

Probably a good way to use dale would be to take a front line of D7 erebor dwarves then have dale warriors with spear & bow behind them.

Just my thoughts ;) hopefully more helpful than the post above 8)

Thanks guys! I'm planning on using Erebor as the main punch with their kickass Heros and warriors of Dale to kinda fill out the force

They are essentially men of numenor statline based, Captain is similar to the Capt of Numenor. Girion is just a little bit of extra kick with his biggest selling point being an shooting based special rule.

They have a pretty good statline for men (same as numenorians) but suffer from lack of variety. I think they are gorgeous models though, so I'm building a force of them withthe intention of allying in things which will make them a little tougher.
