New GW page is up

I much prefer the new pages (mobile and standard). Really hoping the Mahud Warriors will be restocked in the US as it claims

but why do we have to register again, and that all old accounts are gone, thats a bit odd

aslo all the Azog rumor stories are completely untrue!

On the US site Girion has been gone since the Gundabad Orcs (who have since returned) disappeared. PM me if you need a US source for a Girion model. I know a seller.

When I was looking around the US site, under "Pre-orders", there is is the LOTR War of the Ring BattleHosts book. But from the description it seems like it is just the same book as before.

I've sent the customer service an e-mail asking this, wondering about why Girion is gone and the book is in his place..

Most worryingly/frustratingly for me is the fact that ALL of the FAQ articles for ALL of the systems are suddenly gone. I spoke to Customer Services and they said they had no plans to bring them back. Baffling decision.

Others have said that it was just a mistake but they don't know when they'll get all the FAQs back up.

Liking the new look, although with every upgrade it just makes the 80s style GW logo look ever more out of place. They'll really need to update that eventually.

Also, is it me, or do all the images look better? I think they've somehow made the lot of them HD, except the really old miniatures. To me, this gives a great sense of how the models were actually painted, I can see every brushstroke now, very much like that!

I like the new look, the mobile site is very user friendly and I really like the perspective they have added to figures preview photo, making the ones in the background smaller, a little blur and horizon behind them, they no longer look like they are floating around

Surprised to see so many people liking it, at least on a pc/laptop it's (even) more annoying to navigate.
They also ditched the last few useful parts of the website.. either they'll return, or there is no reason to ever visit again.

I do like the new layout. And can appreciate the effort and attention they paid to our hobby. Hopefully they will bring back some OOP stuff, and make more available others that have long lead times.

Before all the WOTR, SBG, and first 3 Sourcebook articles disappeared, I printed everything. Scenarios, faction descriptions, tactics, and painting/modeling, FAQ's, and rules updates. All in a binder, and quasi-organized. Granted, it's all off our B&W office printer.

Blowing my own Horn of Gondor here... :-D

Can you still buy the war of the ring movement trays? I can't seem to find them on the new site (though I always struggled to find them on the old one too)

I found the Cavalry movement trays on the USA and the NZ website but can't find the infantry ones.
