I think that Thranduil improved a lot, although I don't like the Brown cloak, IMO it doesn't fit very well to the rest of the paint scheme. The rangers are very great, extremely good highlighting. Just the eyes of the ranger on the 6th picture are a bit strange... :? :-D

Looks good. I'd darken the tongue a bit except for the tip so that it looks moist as it stands he's bound to be thirsty

You've done a great job on both models. I really like the brown on the bears face and was tempted to do the same on the version i just completed. Unfortunately my hands were tied as it was a commission and the client wanted the bear to look the same colours as the bear on the box. I like yours better - i will copy the brown on the face when i paint my own.

Well done - fantastic paint jobs.

Nice work Thein, you have given these a great look. If I was to do them I would also go for the brown face.

Nice to see two versions of this model in the same day and get a feel for it. I guess that GW didn't sculpt the scratches on Beorn's face.
Models look very good, well painted.

Brilliant! You seem to have missed a fair few mould lines on Beorn though. (human form)

Never seen him up close, that's quite the weird little figure. You really brought him to life though, nice work.
