They made Mirkwood much less psychedelic and 'trippy' in the finished film...

Wow there were some major changes!!!! Everything is less 'blue' on a whole and mirkwood became a more 'realistic'. Also some scenes were entirely from different angles!

I think the majority of the changes to Bluray just made things look more gritty and realistic. I think thats an improvement.

Not just different angles. A lot of background changes were made too! Very good.
