Wow! Great use of the treebeard figures. These small little dioramas that are not necessarily military are what gives this game so much character! It'll also act as an interesting scenario tool.

Many thanks, yes indeed it can certainly be an 'objective', perhaps to capture or rescue the cart!

I was perhaps even thinking of it in terms of a courage/standfast boost to hobbit forces...?

I have not been around much, so I just caught up. The columns also look nice. I will borrow your idea of the ale wagon. I am not going to sacrifice my Bugmans cart. I will use the new cart from Other World. Well done

The cart looks ace! You need to jump on a plane and come to the Longbottom Carnival tournament in August - there's a custom scenario where you need a cart model on a 60mm base!

The causeway looks incredible too, the scale is just wonderful. I've just moved into a new house and am delighted to have more space for gaming but still couldn't store this thing anywhere! Your place in the Shire must be palatial! :-)

Can't wait to see how it develops, keep up the great work!

@Oldman Willow - I haven't played WFB for many years I doubt I'll ever get back to it (Anyone want some old school dwarfs let me know!), so sacrificing the cart to a better cause was an easy decision, but I'll look up the Other World cart you mention - I like lots of battlefield 'detritus'...

@Dr Grant - I'd seriously love to jump on a plane! As much as I enjoying living in the 'real Middle Earth' - I do miss the chance of taking part in GBHL - you guys are doing a great job of keeping the game alive so keep up the good work! Games here in NZ seem pretty thin on the ground - pricing here has really had an effect for most players I think :-(

I am fortunate in gaming and storage space, but the causeway is going to test me most certainly! ;-)

It might become a giant diorama /display-piece elsewhere in the house , rather than in the games-room only???

The causeway looks fantastic. Love that part of the film and always think that it must be a great scenario to play.

The ale cart is very original and is exactly the kind of thing I can imagine hobbits would use.

Stairs of moria look fantastic. The Hobbit ale cart is inspired, very clever and great use of the models.
Trolls I will have to check your blog, hard to see in this pic how they came out. This is one of the sets I have passed on, always curious to see them, waiting to be convinced I should pick them up.

Top work, especially on the bases and fire. Skin is hard to do, so these must have been quite a toilsome lot.
