What should I paint next?

Hey guys, I'm really getting back into the hobby now after a bot of a break. I have tons to paint, and I think I need a WIP to get me on it. Only trouble is, there's so MUCH to paint that I'm having trouble deciding what to do. Place a vote and let me know what you want to see out of me!

An other idea for you to decide wich models to paint first is to throw 2 d6 the result is the miniature you are going to paint for example an 8 would be Sauron.

I chose Erebor Dwarf Warriors (assuming you mean the newer plastic kit from around the release of The Hobbit SBG).

My reason:
Knowing how difficult it is to 'get back into the hobby', having unashamedly done so three times myself now, I find the best way to start is by wiping the slate clean and beginning completely anew. Obviously, I don't know what you've painted before, but for me, the Grimhammers was my perfect excuse to start a Dwarf army after a three year hiatus (having only collected Rohan, Isengard and Mordor previously). The Dwarves added something new to my armies which I had never experienced before, beards mainly, but nevertheless I found the army really enjoyable to paint and collect, and eventually my single box of Grimhammers turned into two, followed by two more of the Erebor Warriors, some of the older Vault Guards and Dwarf Rangers, and many more heroes. Of all the miniatures I painted, the Erebor Warriors offered the most diversity, as not a single one looks the same, allowing not only for a little bit of minor converting here and there, but also interesting diversity in paint scheme, which always adds to an army. I have since sold off my Dwarf army in favour of starting to collect WHFB (again, after a short hiatus), but kept one battalion of my Erebor Warriors because I simply enjoyed them immensely.

This will all eventually get painted, so maybe while I wait for the poll to run its course I'll get on one of the options that only has a vote or two...

Ps, mine is the only vote so far for Gondor Commanders so maybe I'll bang them out first!

Well, she's all over except the crying now. Erebor Dwarves came in from behind to a resounding victory, so once I've finished my current project and converted them up suitably, I'll start on 'em. Seeing as I combined a box of Warriors and a box of Grimhammers, I might as well do both groups in one batch!

What should I paint next?
