Hey all, longtime reader first time poster. Been resurrecting some of my Wood Elves after a long sleep in cardboard boxes, so thought I would share them on a WiP to try and build some momentum in my painting. They're mostly done with Foundry paints so have a bit of that Dallimore style, but my more recent stuff (not as well painted sadly), like this Galadhrim is a combination of Vallejo and Games Workshop. Have a very dry shining gold that needs replacing so I think that's why the armour has come out a bit blotchy...

Also, on a related note, but can anyone recommend a GW brown that might replace the old Bestial Brown? I used to use that as the foundation for my flesh, and am now using a substitute Vallejo that is.. well, not as good. Enjoy the photographs.

Sorry can't help on the flesh tones, I find what works for one person doesn't always work for others, personal taste I guess. I like what you have done, would like to see a group shot.

I still have a little bestial brown left and use it sparingly. But I made the switch to Mournfang Brown. It is very close, not perfect, but you get use to it. needs more watering down then the older paints, which needed watering down.
