I need a small fast moving stream for a scenario for this week end.I decided to make it this morning. I cut already prepared some hard board for the game store. I cut it out with a jig saw. Smooth side up. I ruff sanded it and spray painted it blue.



I sanded the paint and the edge with fine sandpaper and repainted with craft paint.I usually use True Blue but I left it at the store. I did not want to go out in the snow storm to get it so I use North Sea Blue from Delta.



I used Modge podge as the gloss medium. I dabbed it on to create the texture. It should be dry by tomorrow.



The characters have to sneak across the stream to raid the barn. I do not want them to succeed. The farmer and a helper are cutting wheat. The characters do not know about the dogs.



I created the large wheat field for the Scouring of the Shire scenarios.Use Farmer Maggot and a sheriff to convert the scenario to SBG. You could use hobbits or ruffians as the sneak thieves if you wish. Use the special rules from The Scouring of the Shire.

Nice work. I find sometimes I can do my best work when under pressure to get something on the table. I tend to over think things and that prevents it.

Scouring of the Shire is one of my favourite source books, also the minatures released for it are just brilliant. I played my other half the Farmer Maggot and dogs scenario once and she won, the only game of SBG she has ever played and now she won't play again.
