Hey guys, just invested in a bunch of mirkwood stuff because the models are lovely. I've bashed out a quick list and wondered what you think.

Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm
8 Palace Guards, (4 shield, 4 spear)

Legolas Greenleaf (armour, elf cloak)
8 Mirkwood elves (elf Bows)

Mirkwood Capain
12 Mirkwood Elves (6 Elf blade + Shield, 6 elf glaive)

Gandalf the Grey

Total of 800 points

Magic is good and all, but I think Gandalf is too expensive in a list of Elves, especially including so many palace guard.

At 800 points, you only have 32 models. Thats dangerously low. Most evil and good armies can probably spam elites and still outnumber you.

Id replace Mirkwood Captain with Tauriel and add more Elves. Maybe Rangers.

Only 38 models, but 2 beastly mounted heroes and a bunch of pesky rangers to soften up the enemy.

Maybe consider dropping most of the Palace Guard and adding more Mirkwood Elves ? Just have a couple PG with Spears as a small bodyguard for Thranduil
