Hi all,

Currently building an Easterling Force and wanted advice on this 400pt list. I'm not precious about changing parts of it, but I am aiming to get all the models present so it would be good to use. I also have a bannerman but didn't see the need for him in this.

400pts

Warband 1

Khamul the Easterling

Warband 2

Easterling Captain with Horse and Sheild
5 Easterling Kharaphrakt

Warband 3

Easterling Captain with Halberd
4 Easterling with Shield
4 Easterling with Shield and Pike
4 Easterling with Bow

A little worried about the model count? Maybe Khamul is too much of a points sink at this range?

You can follow my collecting on the blog in my sig!

Cheers in advance!

Khamul on 400p game... What would be the point with khamul, except a cool looking hero? nearly 1/3 of army would be built of this mediocre mage. Without fellbeast or even horse his melee would be quite pathetic. Would there even be likely very strong enemy heroes to transfix? Well, possibly something like legolas, gimli or so on, which are tough but also relatively cheap. I am not expert, but i doupt khamul would do near as much for its points as some damage oriented hero. As transfix is a bit pointless without forces to flood on target.

Answer: If you want it for themic, go for it, otherwise I definitely suggest to not take khamul to army of this size.

Consider amdur lord of blades. He functions as a banner, you could add a bit more punch to your force too with the extra points too.
