Yeah me too :p

Thoug I sort of a problem.... I don't know what hair colour to go for. Either Brown - strating with scorched brown, or ligth brown - starting with snakebite leather/bestial brown

wow thats so cool, i must have missed this thread from earlier lol. For his hair try adding a light coat of scorched brown to all his hair and then drybrush bestial brown - this resembles the borimir (sean bean) in the film. cant wait to see him finished too

Great fur you made, is the fur on the model or is it freehand?

I went with a Bestial Brown basecoat and highlighted using a mixture of Bestial Brown and Dwarf Flesh....kept added in the Dwarf Flesh until I came to a nice light brown color. I'll see if I can post up a photo of the hair before the weekend.

Fantastic job, being a diehard Boromir fan I'm especially awed by this WIP. The others are great too, they just aren't Boromir. Lol.

Love the colouration on the horse and the unique approach to the robes on Boromir !
This will be an interesting conclusion !

Some recent photos.

I finished inner robes, saddle details, horn, and a cloak. Only problem is that Vallejo Royal Blue is a bit glosyy (i dunno if that's only my or whole part. Anyway it will be al good after varnishing. I decided to go dark blue after studing FotR and TTT pics of Boromir. Now i must finish Haird and gloves, plus i'm thinking about adding some freehand to the reins. After that the ONLY thing is to make NMM work ;)

Since tomorow is my first exam (First of 6), Today I spent on... hm relax, and here is the result of that.

Th cloak isn't yet finished it will be highlightet a bit more but since it has same basecoat as tunic (catachan green shaded with mix of CG and black) i will highlight it with fortess gray instead of bleached bone (like I did with tunic). The other green part on Tunic is painted with VAllejos Military Green higlighted by adding bleached bone.

its looking very good so far, the only thing i would comment on is that the eyes look abit crazed and the pupils are not aligned properly, but that may be because the photo is so large?
