Yeah I know :D I just love that one ;)

Very nice mate, glad to see you're still chuffing away at that army Smile Those elves are looking great! Exceptional blending on the flesh areas as well, I'm still having issues with trying to pick out all the details on their ruddy faces.

It's the only Good army for me ;) And yes, you're absolutely right, the faces are just pure... (insert apropriate word ;) )

Very nice. You inspire me to put a lil' more effort on my batch mini's too

Next my Felame Elf ranger. It's by Reaper but I think it suits LotR theme. IMO it's better sentinel than GW ones ;)

I love the diorama mate, it was my favourite of the competition. I'm not sure there are many things cooler than a goblin with a *weapon of mass destruction*
The elf is fan-freaking-tastic as well, definately fits into Middle Earth.

Can't wait for those ingame shots!

EDIT: Ok, what gives! who's the smart alec that replaced the b-word with 'I'm an idiot'

Great diorama! It's truly great! Same as for the Ranger, both awesome! Great work as always Haldir!

Mine also. How crazy was that???!!! I loved it! Very unconventional and 'off the wall'. I thought the green fire was intentional - a sort of weird magical fire conjured up by some dark art.

Oh, and well done on that letter-opener as well. A very tasty little trophy.

I believe it's an Italian saying that the best solutions are the temporary one ;)

So anyway this week update. Last days off free careles painting before exam sessions starts at Monday :/ Than there will be almost no free-time to paint till July :(

I decided to start finishing second batch of mine Haldir's Elves. They have been lying on desk for almost a year and they started to drive me crazy doing nothing ;) Plus commission Gamling with standard (just before finishing Standard which will be done till Monday...i hope so :D )

Pics ... well suck ;) But I don't have now space and will to make better just for WiP (no might either ;) )

Sorry to say.. but those mini's look like they had been rushed :O

*pointing the finger up and down*
I'm not used to this!
*stops*

xD

Nah, but knowing your other models these will end up fine too! These are WiPs nonetheless :P

ps
Those reds on Gamling aren't finished yet.. are they?
And what's up with those spears? You know Galadhrim can't have spears.. do you? :P

Okay, I'm not just saying this...

I think that is 'THE' best colour scheme I have ever seen on Armoured Elves !
At first glimpse, it looks a little dull, but on further inspection, that is much more realistic colour scheme for Elves, blending into the woodland surrounding them...I love it...awesome !!!

The Galadhrim are banner bearers (I love that sculpt) so I am guessing you have a lot of the bow/sword elves as well. The gold is very cleanly done.

Thanks guys. I thought I'll stay with Blue colour scheme for cloak because I really like working with GW blue.

Those Wood Elf cloaks looks blindingly terrific - they must be some of the best I have ever seen because of the wonderful shades of colour. I'm sure the finished models will be outstanding.

Commission job so it's not at full skill, thought I'm pretty found of finished model though I need to varnish it once more.

I'm mainly interested what you think about Banner , any suggestions?

Cheers ;)

 The banner looks brilliant mate, it helps top an already excellent model. I would love to be able to paint free-hand banner designs like that

Nice work, Gamling is not an easy miniature to paint, the banner is great.
