what??.. that is a good elf you know....

I think the movies tried to bridge between the singing and the fighting elves as the books describe in different situations, and I think they pretty much succeeded in that. For instance when you compare Haldir's style when speaking to Theoden in Helm's deep "We come to honour that allegiance...We are proud to fight alongside Men once more." to the fighting Haldir or Elrond you may see what I mean.

And yes, I don't know how you knew but it was a really heavy drink....as heavy as I am allowed to drink...
A fresh "Mango Juice"...on the rocks.....and I have to admit it, I am a Mangoholic and it really got into my head....

i'd like to see most of the elven actors return, christopher lee and ian mckellen are a must, saruman and gandalf would be weird portrayed by different actors now they have already done the 3 films.

I remember reading in Empire magazine that the guy who plays the doctor in The Last King of Scotland is going to be Bilbo. Ian Mckellan is suppose to be a definite come back as Gandalf, also in an interview Christopher Lee expressed great interest at returning to his role but as far as I know he hasn't been approached yet.

If only Ian Mckellan, Christopher Lee and Hugo Weaving came back it would make my day :)

Are any of the actors who had roles in the three Lord of the Rings movie confirmed to be starring in the forthcoming Hobbit movie?

That is the question.

It means - are any of the actors who had roles in the three Lord of the Rings movie confirmed to be starring in the forthcoming Hobbit movie?

If you do not understand it, why drag up a 5 month old topic, just to say so?
