Middle...without a doubt ! The other 2 are far too mature to be interested in this (says a 42 year old kid).

The guy on the right. He looks like a Painter. I don't know why, but some people look like natural painters, some look like gamers, and some look like loosers that can't do either :P  .
Do you know if the guy on the right is cold. He looks cold :P
You should have made a board on your holiday, the inspiration there is outstanding.

Haha! I fooled you all(except for maybe Nathan - he seemed to be getting onto something  ) I'm actually the strapping young lad on the left, yep the one with the skinnies :D

Update on that - I'm now 19, 20 next january. That reminds me - i still havent recieved this years present...

He certainly was - of the three he was the one who would strap on about 3-4 extra layers when we went skiing. Actually in hindsight that wouldve been a smart thing to do, as Hutt is not kind when it is cold

In terms of WiP's I'm almost done with some of the rangers now, and the stripped WoMT are going under the knife to rid them of the cursed flash - i'll be basing and priming them when the weather permits, it's been really foggy as of late.

Cheers

Update tiiime!

Enter rangers, and the Orc Captain.

I really didn't know what else to do with the Orc captain, so I just neatened him up and washed the flesh to blend it all together and left it at that.

The WoMT are going to be primed today :)

Fantastic Rangers mate. And bonus points for brown-edged bases.

:D

Yes I agree - very nicely painted Rangers.

However I think some vegetation detail on the bases would just give them a much more outdoors-y and ranger-y feel to them...if it is in your style to use grasses and flocks, that is.

Hey guys thanks for all the comments :)

@C_C: They'll be getting flocking eventually down the road - I recently got myself a bag of static grass and so when the army is finall complete I'll just hit it all at one time.
@Gaarew: Yep, can't go wrong with the good ol' Dark Flesh bases.

I've started on those WoMT, and I was in the process of priming my Captain of MT(faramir) however the nozzle of my spray paint clogged up and now I can't get any of it out!!! So now its time to hit the interwebs to find out how I can unclog it :(

Got work as well unfortuantely and the camera is in use atm, so other projects(Uruk scouts, aragorn, elves, and the Royal Guard) are on hold until tomorrow.

Cheers!

Hey guys, update time!

Image

Now, onto the rangers. I tried varying the scheme in terms of changing the cloaks to brown instead of the default green, however the process has just been real frustrating - the colours aren't coming out right and there are just loads of small little annoyances which are just making me really tired of painting these lads.

*Going to go insane painting all this plate!!!*

The Uruk-Hai scout looks great! As do the rangers.

Love the way you've painted the back of the shield on the Warrior of Minas Tirith!

I really like the painting skills and techniques applied to all of these models - they are all very good.
