He manages to make Gamling sound like Worzel Gummidge! (for those unfamiliar with him - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worzel_Gummidge)

The banner is fantastic - that is as near the real thing as you can get with a 28mm scale mini. Gamling looks fabulous though in the films he was more of an RRG commander and close bodyguard for Theoden (unlike the Gamling in the books but then there is a chance that that was a different Gamling...)

I think that maybe NLC switched roles between Hama and Gamling ;)

And got rid of Hama. All you hear/ see of him is A) He lets Gandalf and co. into Meduseld. B) He gets killed by a warg on the way to Helm's Deep and C) had Aragorn have a nice chat with his son Haleth.

An expertly painted Royal Banner - IMO that horse is probably the hardest thing to paint accurately of all the LotR SBG line. Its very difficult with all the contours of the flag itself, and getting the design in the right place.

There is no Wikipedia page for Worzel :? You made me 'google' it.

What a funny looking character, I can't believe I've never heard of him before. Thanks for the connection though Dorthonion, I now know what I'll be thinking of next time I watch the Two Towers :D

You put a wor after w and a wor after e and that's how you speak worzelees or something like that is how the song used to go. Worzel Gummadge was a great tv show. Not as good as that banner though.

That banner is amazing.
I wish I could paint like that.

And your Haldir's elves look amazing, IMO better than the colour scheme GW does and the best scheme I have seen yet. Great models.

Whoa 2 months since last update :/ Good thing It's vacation time. Uni is over ...unless till october (1 year down 4 to go :D )

So I was working on some stuff for UKFB, he already say it and I'd like you guys to take a look and rate/comment those minis to help me determine wether they need some improvement.

There's a lot of pics so brace yourselves :) (I'm experimenting with new camera and different light settings )

First and my Favourite - Mountain GIant, I like this mini though I hope I'll never have to paint one again D: It's soooooo difficult it actually hurts :D But UKFB did great job on this one, outstanding sculpt. If you want to relax from all those 28mm tiny minis thet's the way :D

Now Woodsman. I decied to go with standard leather clothes and I matched them with blonde hair for contrast 'cause let's be honest, no one thinks of him as a blonde ;) I was thinking of doing next one with tartan cloaths much like clansmens of lammedon.

An his 'pet' :D I went for the Grizlli scheme

Last but not least :D The Ent UKFB Debut and I have to say that's a great one I like it especially because I'm proud Wood Elf Army Owner :D I decided to try some different colour approach from schorched brown -> bestial Brwon etc. I also intend to do next one with technique of layering as all minis, rather thantypicall for ents drybrushing.
