on the elf apprentice i don't really like the "rapport and insperational masters rules" they make an apprentice stronger and cheaper if there is a master nearby. I agree with the stronger part but they shouldn't be cheaper.

instead of the Insperational masters rule i would say that whenever a apprentice uses a point of will he has to throw a dice, on a 4+ he doesn't use will.

and instead of the rapport rule I would say that at the stard of the game every apprentice may chose a master, as long as the master is allive they pass al courage tests but when their master dies they must take a courage test.

the rapport and insperational masters rule:
Rapport: Apprentices rarely appear on the battle field without a masters presance, Elf Mage Apprentices cost 10 points less whenever an Elf Mage Master is on the battle field, note 1 master per apprentice.

Insperational masters: Mage Aprentices are still learning the ways of magic from there masters. If an Elf Mage Master successfully casts a spell within 6'' of an apprentice they gain back 1 will.
A agree. Those are good suggestions, with an official precedent for each(love those new Ringwraith rules)!

But you know, joris267, you didn't have to do the show/hide thing, because this is a house rule in its own thread.

i know but I thought it might get a bit messy with my rules and his rules onderneath eachother and so. I just dit it to get a better overview.

another possible rule for there wil could be that they get a free spell if they throw a 4+ on the stard of his movement. this would give him 3 will and 50% to cast a free spel. so he would be possible to cast magic for the whole game but wouldn't be as powerfull as normal wizards.
(with the prevorious will rule i sugested he would have abouth 5 will total wich isn't much for a spell caster)

That's a good point. I hadn't thought of that.

another possible rule...
That's interesting. I'll have to think on that for a while.

I would say on a 5+ rather than a 4+ as that means that a mage app may (at the end of the game) have had more will points to use during the game ....

Well, I think the idea is to potentially give him more Will for the game. But I think 5+ is a good suggestion - with a 15/20 pt cost increase.
