This is a first WIP for me on OR, I have done smaller ones on other sites but not here (for some reason  )

I will start with this guy I just finished, after another white drybrush, and a re-basing, we have a result:

Nice. I like his eyes, it's like he's just seen legolas drawing an arrow at him, but he can't stop swinging his huge axe. Very Cool. Also like the realistic painting, it's one of teh things that got me into LoTR, the minis look so good painted realistically, unlike the warhammer minis, which lend themselves to a more abstract, cartoony style. Good Work. Oh, what type of sand are you using for the bases, I have some, but it's too fine, and doesn't paint up well.

Cheers

@ Jack. Thanks Mate. The next updates will be more WIP related I promise.

@ Call of the Ring. Thanks. As for the sand, its just some building sand I bought from travis perkins - In a massive bag that weighed ALOT. Enough to fill about 200 cups worth.

Good work Corsair. If you're still looking for ringwraiths, there's a few going cheap in minisryou lotr on ebay. They're in damaged pack but the minis look fine.

yeah, I have seen those, they look like they are in good condition. The only prob with that is that they are the same sculpts as the ones I have atm. I don't think thats a prob though

An hour? An hour? Try 5...

They are very nice, suitably dark and sombre.

The edges of the bases look a little scrappy, but that's easily fixed.

Good work.
