The skill with which you painted Gamling and his banner is truly awe inspiring.

I must confess, I’m envious of your metallic painting technique. Please be kind and reveal your metallic painting secrets, if I must dispatch my orcs to get it they will most certainly be cruel. Save yourself a cruel and ignoble death write an article.

Two absolutely amazing figures!

Your skills with the brush have brought them to life and provides us all with something to aspire to with our own painting!

Thank you for sharing them with us.

Nice colour schemes there Haldir... just Watch your Karma. (ignore that.)

Are the turbany-hats (I forget the name) going to be dark- or light-coloured?

Thanks guys ;)

Best Army... I'm still hoping for that one ;) But We'll see about that I hope you're right :D

@ Captain Ingold - I'm thinking about breaking down the scheme with some dark red and black combination for the rest of the mini, giving that quivers and belts will be dark brown rest should nicely fit ;)

I'm also thinking about adding some freehands but I'll see about that in near future. if I have enough time ... still have to paint at least 12 Haradrims and 2-3 Hasharins ;)

That Gamling is just stunning! Great work!

I find that particular mini one of the most difficult ones to paint, mostly due to the banner, not the design on itself, but the odd shape of the flag. I've started it and stripped it more times than any other!

Great NMM... any hints on the colours you used?

I'm with you. I've painted 2 such minis and 1 Gamling with Banner on foot, mounted one is a pain in the... you know what ;) Flag is too thick and badly shaped.

Colours? No problem - Snakebite Leather - Bubonic Brown - Bleached Bone - Skull White plus Bestial brown as base and to define deepest parts.
