Hehe thanks guys, Mac if I could find some decent argonaut minis I would do a little diorama that I have had in mind for ages now and the skeletons from Otherworld are perfect for it.

Right managed to get a good bit done on the second skeleton from the range today. I have positioned the sword arm low down. I wanted to try and create a look that shows the skellie struggling to lift such a big weapon. Hopefully it has paid off I know I like it this way though the blade is going to be a bitch to paint at this angle.

Once all the bone work is completed I will then go back over and sparingly add a final highlight in some of the highspots.
Thanks for the links too guys. At the moment those foundry Argonauts are the favourites there are several there I could use.

Cheers guys, I am back on the Skeletons today and here are some more shots of number two now completed (barring the base). Once I have the third one done from this pack I will do all their bases before moving onto the second pack.

I have just given the third one its first undercoat, I won't really get started on it properly until tomorrow

The blending and shading on both the skeletons and the skin and browns on the other guy are simply perfect and beautiful to behold.

Very interested in how you did the blood on the skeletons swords, I always use watered down red ink and then build up to non diluted ?

Thanks guys, @Brian I use undiluted red ink for a couple of layers and then darken it with very small amounts of blood towards the blades egde to show where it has built up and congealed a bit.

True, I must say, you are easily my favourite painter who uses real metallics. 8)

Very nicely done! I can only hope that one day I´ll be able to paint like that :) Can´t wait to see the finished bard and any other minis you´re working on or are planning to work on in the future!

Lovely blending! Just wonderful.

I love the "skellies", I would really like some now. The RGB barb is great, love the real metallics. And that's saying something, I generally dislike any form of true metallics. The skin is great though, perhaps you could post a step by step on how do paint bone?

:)

Keep up the great work mate!

KJ
