Yeah, maybe it is designed for Planetscape, but it works for LotR too.

Top piece - Lava. Mordor anyone? Could always texture the interior and use it as a fissure for Isengard foundations too.

Centre left and Bottom Right pieces - Volcanic debris. Again, Mordor terrain, especially around the base of Mount Doom. The craters, just like the Moonscape pieces, could be filled with water effects to create some rocky pools, great for the Dead Marshes, or even the place the Bilbo finds the Ring. The boulder strewn piece could be added to any sort of siege setup, to represent previous catapult bombardment.

Centre right and Bottom Left - easy enough to cover up the spaceship debris. Either sculpt rocks or boulders over them, or just use sand to texture.



Either way, 5 pieces of large terrain for £12 isn't too bad.

Yeah, I picked up 2 bags this morning. Something else to add to the project pile...

well, you came up with some ideas which i would not have thought of.
