So, this is how master Grimnar is looking so far. I have to change couple of thins i.e shadow some areas more (like Wolf's head and eyes alongside with OSL, they're just too bright :) )

If everything goes well I should finish him tomorrow ;)

Brilliant work. As you said though, the OSL is a bit bright. The purple axe looks a bit strange in my eyes, but no-one could argue about the quality of painting. 8)

I know i't a bit off, but I figured Blue would be lost withing armor and pads and red is already on boltgun so it would look like symetic job and with green he'd look a bit necronish ;)

Ice and crystal if I'm correct ;)

Superb job as expected... the only thing I could argue about is the OSL on the wolf eyes. Apart from that all I can say is HOLY MOLY!

Wiktor, do you mind telling me what colours you used for the face and the gold? :)

Face:
Basecoat of Hull Red (Dark Flesh in GW), next we do the eyes. After that there comes a layer of bestial brown, highlighted by adding Cork Brown (no such shade in GW pallette) up to pure Cork Brown followed by adding some Bleached Bone.

Gold:
Simple scheme. Scorched brown-bestial brown-snakebite leather-bubonic brown - white ;)

Yes ;) If you find in my posts some colours you don't see in GW pallette it's VGC :)

Finished master Grimnar. There's couple of thing at least, that could be done better but now I'm exhausted with this mini so maybe before I'll eBay it I'll change them ;)

A stunning model - beautiful colours! :yay:

Though I'm afraid I really don't like the base.

Other than that it's a great miniature that you should be very proud of!

Keep it up!

Don't worry you're not the only one who don't like the base ;)

Anyway here's it's entry on CMON (and eBay) ;)
