I really like the scenery you've made, particularly Amon-hen! :yay:

Now paint it! :)

Nice terrain peices! especially Amon-Hen! :yay:

With the Green Ringwraiths try this to make the cloak more smooth: Start with black, then gradually add some Dark Angels Green in with the black then eventually adding some Skull White at the highest folds of the cloak. Remember to keep Chaos Black in the deepest recesses, then it will look great!

of course^^
first i painted almost the whole face white
after that i shaped eyes by coloring the face black expect the eyes, this way you can just shape it correct (for me its difficult to shape the eyes in 1time with white, so i shape it).
after that a vertical stripe with ice blue.
(again correcting with white)
then some small dots with chaos black, as pupils
if the pupils arent right, just cover them with ice blue and start again

in principal in it very simple, but cause it is so small i had to make much correction:3

5mm foamboard,
it is very light and strong material, and easy to cut through

here's a wip of another nnm elf (yes i work on differint minis at the same time, i cannot concentrate very long:P)
Image
Image
if looks beter than the previous one, but it still doesnt have the nnm-feeling:3

i've used more layers than with the previous one
ill put the layers here so maybe you could help me what to do better next time:
watered bestail brown
bestial brown and snakebitleather mixed(plus water)
bestial brown and more snakebiteleather
snakebiteleather
snakebiteleather and bubonic brown
snakebiteleather with more bubonic brown
bubonic brown
bubonic brown with a bit bleached bone
bubonic brown with more bleached bone
(all paint were watered down, which is new for more, so it is a bit blury. and because of it i have painted every layer twice to get is smooth(so instead of 9layers it were 18 in reality)

i hope someone could give me some feedback about it
(and btw the pantsthing needs to be finished it has just 2layers yet)

i was so amazed by the beacon of the ranger of gondor, i decided to creat my own one, so here's the wip:

Image
Image

and i've painted the clothes(expect the cloak and robes) of the high elf, personally i think it turned out better than the other ones^^ (also, i need to paint the sword and the chainmail)
Image

(so what still needs to be done: painting amon-hen, finish painting the ranger and some uruks(and finishing this high elf))

The elf looks very good. The NMM isn't quite there yet, but you should have mastered it by the time you get to your bowmen.

For the nmm on the elf, you could try layering some Snakebite Leather again in the deeper recesses. It helps me a lot to smooth it all.
Very often, just before I do Snakebite Leather again, the results isn't really satisfying, but after applying the darker Snakebites again, it turns out totally different!
You could give it a try aswell (just don't kill me if it doesn't work...) ;-)

Everything is looking great so far :) Sadly I've kinda lost interest in the beacon at the moment, but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask TheBucklandBrewer or myself (TBB made an article about his... sadly it's on TLA, which isn't working at the moment)

Keep it up!
