You'd almost start thinking that some bod at GW was reading these forums...

Oooooh, just what we need; more terrain Devlan Mud! Let's strip all the basing off what we have and replace it with this super cool neato dead grass! I bet it's only like, $15 a tub!

Thanks for the heads up James, even thoguh I'm not exactly over joyed at the news. The burnt grass is particularly bad, it looks as if they took some static grass and dipped it in Chaos Black...

I'd rather get my stuff from Antenociti's and save some money.

The burnt grass looks pretty Devlan Mud but I really do like the dead grass. It would go well with Mordor bases. Places where things are dead and evil.

I don't really like the colours they have chosen, I would only buy them if I was making some sort of Dead Landscape like Mordor.

Anyway, $15 AU is a rip-off! :-X at my local Hobby Store, it is like $7 for 15g of Static Grass.

AU $15 ain't that bad. Its good material, and Gw has to profit from selling it somehow. Can you get static grass from most hobby stores?

yeah, its model railway stores for me, companies like 'scenics' are SO dang cheap in comparison it makes you laugh (then cry if you bought the GW equivalents beforehand).

Pff I'd rather stick with Gale FOrce Nine and Spectre Hobbies basin materials. GW ones are just worse that those, plus GF9 and SH are much cheaper.
