Looks good Gorgoroth!

I like the skintones and the colour of the cloak is very good, I think the freehand goes nicely.

As fir the main body, how about a pale/babyish blue?

Thanks Jake,

Thats a good idea, but maybe a light green colour would suit it more

That'd work much better and also make the freehand look less out of place.

Lovely job! Certainly your best piece so far! I agree though on the black robes... they contrast too much with the rest of the model. I think a pale green would suit it marvelously if done correctly, but watch out for that poison vial (?) on his belt; you still want that to stand out!

Keep it up, mate! :-D

Thanks Julian, 8)

Maybe I'll just change the colour of the poinsons to like bright red or something.

That'd look great, mate! Just make sure it's not the same red as the 'belt'!

Thats really good Billy. The freehand on the hood is really good, its nice and neat and doesn't detract the rest of the model.

Well done mate 8)

Another update :D

I have been working on the green, and I think it looks great, but I still have to blend the highlights together more, because I was only testing at the time and didn't know if I would use the colour.

These are the pictures of the cloak, but unfortunately the highlights don't really stand out in photos :-X

Heres the face:

well done

James

Bad pics, but from what I can see, it looks pretty good. Very nice colour scheme. 8)
Only thing is that perhaps you should fix the blending a bit...

Do you mean on the cloak or on the green? as I said, I was rushing when I painted the green

Now that's what I'm talking about! He looks much better, even though as James said he doesn't fit the 'assassin' image super well :P
Now all you have to do is paint the poison vial red, and maybe paint the knife thing in NMM? I know it's a lot of changes for just one model, but well if done correctly the NMM could be stunning. ;)
Any ideas yet for the base?

Keep it up, mate :)

Jul

Thanks Julian,

Do you guys think I should change the colour scheme? but it's Golden Demon and most people paint their mini's with a different scheme... I really can't be bothered changing the colours around, because then the paint will get too thick, or I will just have to strip the mini and start
over

Last year's under 14's winner for Australia, who painted Radagast in the normal scheme:

http://demonwinner.free.fr/australia/20 ... tegorie=15

Do you guys think I have a chance this year?

I am also finishing the model either tonight or tomorrow, so I'll probably have some pics up by tomorrow 8)
