Im new to the game and wont be ready for a month or so (got to paint my figures!)
Anyone around Leeds/Bradford/Skipton area play?
Adults preferably, Im a teacher and have enough of dealing with kids by the time I get home! :D

Oh I prefer War of the ring, but am happy to play SBG as well!

I'm new to the game too, well returning after a long break.
It will take me a while to paint my minis too but I'd be interested in playing in the not too distant future.

I live on the outskirts of East Leeds, so a game should be possible.

You guys posted 48 hours too late. On Sunday I hosted a 6000 points per side game at my house in Bradford which you would have been welcome to attend. There will be more events of that kind so I'll keep you posted.

Certainly in Bradford there seem to be very few LOTR players, although I try and fly the flag for the genre where I can. I'm running Pelennor Fields at Recon in Pudsey on 5th December, and if you can attend that you get a great little wargames convention plus a bring and buy for those LOTR bargains and a nine foot high Minas Tirith to play with...

I'm a pure SBG player - I have WOTR rules but simply cannot bring myself to like the system. I have about 1000 painted miniatures and oodles of terrain on my home table (11 by 6 feet) but am happy to travel to away games with tournament-sized armies or bigger. I certainly qualify as an adult, having reached my fourth decade of miniature wargaming!
