I'm going to change the system (LotR -> WH40k). However, sometimes I will paint something from LotR and show you pictures.

Today I have for you Guardians of the Shire / Gildor's Household. On sale on eBay.
2-3 days, speedpainting.

Great celeborn. The paint scheme is simply spectacular. The gems are very very well done but the eyebrows stand out a little too much in my opinion.

WOW, this model is AMAZING! :yay: The colours are beautiful!
I agree with Dwarf Lord of Ered Luin in that his eyebrows look strange. But other than that a BRILLIANT mini, great work! 8)

Hello again!

Birthday's comming. New miniatures ordered, now waiting for parcels.
I'm going to paint a few Legolas' versions, but at this moment..

1) Please visit http://coolminiornot.com/artist/SkymaN
Would be thankful for comments and high votes.

2) Ent, Birchwood
Pictures are "old", because I made them around 1-2 week(s) ago. Now I have a brand-new light (still not installed ;p), but my Ent has been sent to a new owner ;p
Anyway, sorry for the bad quality. Please for comments.

Wonderful work on the Birch Ent! I think that color scheme fits him best, it looks as if the sculptor had a birch tree in mind when sculpting this monstrosity... I mean Ent. ;)

It's a real testament to your skill, that you can make such a bad model look so good. Hope to see more painting from you soon. 8)

The moss on the stone looks the best to me....looks like he just ripped up some forest rock to chuck at some naughty orcs. :-D

 white basecoat,
 black wash using Badab Black,
 white drybrush,
 and there was the best fun; with a watered down black paint I was making "black lines". Most of them was horizontal, but there were a couple of vertical.

Without gluing and the basecoat drying I finished this miniature in.. 1 day (a few hours)!

White bark; ~2h
Leafs (around Ent's head); 45min-1h
Base (painting); 30-45min
Adding statistic grass and leafs (on the base); 30-45min

And that was what I thought during making it! ;)
