The Dragon looks like a good one to finish. Also, it's so much cheaper than a GW Dragon.

Personally, I'd pick whatever was quickest and easiest to finish.

Get that done, cross it off your list, move on to the next thing.

Although, we both know, even if you do that, concentration will wander, you will jump between projects, and probably start something completely new too...

Heh, I did say personally...

:-D

Finish the Fell Beasts first though, they look quite close to completion. Move on to the almost complete armies (Isengard and Numenor), which have little painting left to do then, and only then move on to the Dragon, the statues and the Beorn House.

Quite well actually. He is bigger than the plastics, but as a hero that isn't uncommon. he is identical in height to the armoured Celeborn, for example.

@ King Elessar: The foam is just normal pink dense polystyrene. It is more dense than white expanded polystyrene, but less dense than the blue Dow polystyrene. It is used in the building and manufacturing industry for insulation (sound and heat).

Thanks for the comments. I think I will indeed get the fellbeasts finished off to get them 'out the way'.

A very nice sculpt that fits pretty well in size with the LOTR minis: I might have to look into getting this Mordheim Elf mage.

I agree that the best idea is to tackle those projects that need the least work. The satisfaction of completing a project (and clearing a portion of your backlog) will motivate you to keep working on stuff. However, if there is a particular unit that you are wanting to use in an upcoming game, I'd bump that to the top of the list. Other than that, what I try to do is to come up with a goal for each month, and will only tackle other projects when that goal is completed.

Now I just have to attach some reins to both fellbeasts.

Nice base. It looks great though there may just be a few too many bodies in one spot.

Actually Dave, this is the base that comes with the Witch King fellbeast, though they are similar.

I put the reins on both fell beasts last night, now I just have to paint them. Although black leather would be fitting, I think I will go for brown to add a little contrast to the mini. I'll post pics once I'm done.

Is it really? I haven't even opened my model yet.
I just assumed that it was just another one of your crafty conversion projects! :)
