This probs doesn't belong in this part of the forum. Not too sure though

I've got a few pics of my WIP Galadhrim Army. I'll post some pics of the conversions soon, as well as some High Elves I just finished painting.

This isn't really a WIP thread, so I'm moving it to a more appropriate forum. Now, let's see some more Elves!

I'm well aware of the Elnaith guide. The eight High Elves I showed are my only High Elves, and I'm giving them away as Christmas Presents.

I don't have many painted Elves, but here's an example of my paint-scheme. It's been a couple years since I painted them. I think if I were going to expand my Elf Battle Company into a full-fledged army, I'd do a different scheme.

Erunion, I like the bases too, especially the dark earth ones. What is your paint scheme for that, it looks like real dirt, not charcoal :)

Thanks, fellas.

My bases are painted as follows:

Sand/Ballast is put on the base with PVA before the mini is undercoated.
Spray undercoat of Chaos Black.
Drybrush of Scorched Brown
Lighter Drybrush of Bestial Brown (or Graveyard Earth, depending on mood)
Lighter still drybrush of Bleached Bone (or Kommando Khaki, again, dependant on mood).

Hope that helps!

Here is a pic of Thrandui, I painted it for my brother so he could have a leader for his wood elves.

I'll be adding flocking to the base when I get more money to buy some. I still need to do some work on him. Some highlights on the cloak and touching up the boots.

Perhaps my very old WiP thread is on these boards somewhere still, on my old username Sleepybear. Anyways, I can put up some pictures:
