Hi everyone
With the one ring awards coming on I'm trying to make a diorama, but I still have troubles with choosing the models. I want to create a small piece of a path in the mountains where a small band of dwarves (khazad guard and iron guard) are patrolling. In the scene, they clash on orcs. And there lies the problem. I don't know wether I should take mordor orcs or mordor uruk hai. If some people could give there opinion, that would be nice. I don't want to use goblins because I don't like them.
Note that I want to create a scene in the time before the quest of the ring. It's the second era and the dwarves are from khazad dum. Maybe I add an elf from eregion who is in troubles.
thank you

I reckon you should use Mordor orcs, because I don't think that Uruk ever met Dwarves. Or you can use Moria Goblins, with Brown/Grey colour scheme.

I'd use Mordor Uruk-hai and use the metal GW models for it. I'm putting together a Mordor army now, and those models are sweeeeeet.

Couldn't you use a combination of both? Considering the disorganized heirachy that Mordor adopts, it would be more likely that they would attack in merged groups.

Maybe that's the best. Nobody trusts only orcs so 3 mordor uruks are fine to lead the horde.
thank you Haldir_strikes!

Look, why can't it be a part of the 'dwarfs and orcs' war ? That's before the time of the ring and... It's a scene where orcs and dwarfs fight each other so...

I would suggest the orcs because, to my knowledge, the Uruk-hai were created for the War of the Ring and you said that this is set before then...

you're right HB, 'historically seen, that's the best.
