im trying to make a 600 pt army for some games. its wotr and i have very limited numbers as the armies are left overs from a much bigger force ive made. i'd like to know which one you think is best?

dwarf army:
floi 90

4c erid luin rangers 240
+hornblower 15

2c dwarf warrior kinbands + shields 80
1c dwarf archer kinband 35
+shield bearer 25
1c dwarf ranger kinband +bows 40

allies
cirdan of the havens 75

these are the only dwarf models i have left and the army is for a friend, the other dwarfs i have are in mine (i did not know he'd be doing it untill id made mine)

the other
elf army:
celeborn, lord of lothlorien 175
3c high elf regiment 165
2c high elf archer regiment 120
2c high elf cohort

for the elves they are a friends brothers (karvags bro) and all i know is he has high elves so any suggestions for this army?

please say which you like better and any improvements for the dwarfs, using the same models (and maybe a few extras like hornblowers and captains i can get) and any suggestions for the elves (changes can be made aslong as its 600 pts and high elves!)
thank you

Celeborn's 175 points pay for his special rules that affect his performance in Galadhrim formations, of which you are taking none. So drop him and instead take Elladan, Elrohir, and a Commander for the Cohort. That leaves 55 points for another company of high elves too.

I'd choose the elves. I wouldn't invest more than 2 Twins in epics at this points level, then spend the other points on more companies. Captains are not needed at all in games smaller than 1k (not that they're needed above anyway).

For the Dwarves you could always put a dwarf by himself and call him a Dwarf Champion. Or you could build a couple of Ballista's with some scrap lathe if you want to do it for next to nothing. I would do this considering proxies.

Epic:
Balin

Common:
2x Dwarf Rangers w/Bows
2x Dwarf Rangers w/Bows

Rare:
1x Dwarf Ballistas
3x Khazad Guard

Allied:
Thranduil

Total 595 points if I'm correct. I like it.

i like the idea of the dwarf champion but theres a problem with your army
a) ive already made my own ballista so have no scraps left
b)i ave no khazad guard and i need the right models seeing as its an afficial tournament (gws school league)

i think ill deffinatly have a look at the elves and i will think about converting some iron guard into a champion
