That´s some very good painting, and the lava is a nice touch :yay:

Wow, those Morgul Knights are brilliant! They look so evil and deadly.

Quite simple thing really. All three of GW metallics. Start with Boltugn Metal, wash with Badab Black, go over higher areas with Boltgun Metal again, Highlight with Chainmail and Mithril Silver. You can easily skip Mithril silver if you don;t want edges to be too shiny. To finish work with some weather effect use any of brown washes like Sepia or Devlan mud, or any pigment from MiG or Vallejo ;)

Back to living I guess. :D After 3 months of total lack of self-awerness I'm back :D Well not entirely in hobby sense, but I'm getting there ;) Meanwhile I'll post something from August. A piece that was designated to be my entry in Awards but since they're suspended I'll create something else ;)

Oh very nice diarama! Your Haldir has come up really well, some fantastic painting too. The terrain looks good, colourful. :) Hope things go well in the competition. 8) Nice to see you back too, things were slowly going quiet.

That's beautiful! Lovely painting and the base is very well done too. I really like the free hand on the cloak. Good luck in the awards!

That must be the best Haldir I've ever seen - absolutely amazing. How do you get the colours so sharp ? I can only presume it's the effective shading you have used.
It is simply a joy to behold and I can only hope I can one day get to that standard.

No, seriously, that is one of the best Haldir's I've seen. Great job. I also really like the basing, the placement of the different ellements is perfect. :yay:

Just use enough shade in necessary places ;) Right shading and right highlighting and each colour can be sharp ;)

Only base was drybrushed on some places ;) Rest of it is blending, blending and lots of blending once more.

As I told earlier , I'm quite positive I won't enter this one in Awards (since I spoiled the beans now). I'll try to do something better ;)
