It's been a while so here are a few new hills for the modular gameboard.
1 large hill can be split into 4 pieces. All hills or 1" (2,5 cm) high.

Cutting(and hotwire) out the hills (blue styrofoam) and smoothing the side's with sandpaper.
Image

glued sand and gravel on the hills.
Image

Basecoating and drybrushing (medium and light brown) the sand.
Image

Drybrushing the gravel (rocks) with medium and light grey.
Image

Flocking the hills with a blended mix of grass turf.
Image

Modular gameboard with the hills in a random layout.

till next time, xenton (Jan)

Looks like a good board, I'm sure some fantastic battles will take place upon it. 8)

The small hill = 18 x 14 cm
The large hill = 30 x 23 cm
The very large hill (4 pieces) = 50 x 40 cm.
Everything is 2.5 cm high

The total board is 120 x 120 cm.
Four tiles each 60 x 60 cm.
