Less than a day to go and Buhrdur and Saruman are tied. A few extra votes would be nice to find a definite winner :)

What happens if it finishes a tie?

We would either allow people to paint one of either of the tied minis or do a quick 1 or 2 day poll between just the tied choices, probably the latter of those 2 ideas as having people painting different minis isn't the idea of the monthly challenges.

Buhrdur is in the lead again and not long left now :)

Buhrdur it is.

Time to muster those hill trolls! The thread in which we will all paint our miniatures will be posted up on February 1st, with rules.

Thanks to everyone who has voted!

Mordor/Isengard/Cave Troll will suffice if you cannot do Buhrdur. There will be a list of preference that goes something like this (from most preferred to least preferred of acceptable entries):

1. Buhrdur
2. Cave Troll
3. Mordor/Isengard Troll

I have a Buhrdur and a Cave Troll that I began painting, but never finished. I also have a Mordor Troll that is ready to go. Looks like February will be the month of the Trolls.

Hmmm. I have Buhrdur, 4 cave trolls and 12 mordor trolls. I wonder how many I can get done in one month.

All of them! Assembly line troll time!

I found another Mordor Troll, so now I have four to do.

Just Buhrdur and an Isengard Troll for me, though I'll probably only get Buhrdur done :P

I agree. I will be happy to get Buhrdur and the 4 cave tolls completed.

I voted for Buhrdur in the meaning of painting him... But since I'm so in the mood for a moot of Ents, I hope I can at least start the troll... but it might be a welcome distraction from the treeherders...

Don't think I will paint more trolls then just one though... Still have 2 plastic and 1 metal moria trolls, 2 metal + 1 plastic Isengard troll, 1 plastic troll drummer, 1 plastic mordor troll, the mordor chief-troll and the catapult troll... oh, and two half-trolls, lol... all still unpainted... :(

Dave (UKFB) maybe some day we must meet... and organize a huge fight.. Trolls vs. Ents... haha! I see a huge kinda festival-moshpit in front of me filled with troll-fists and weeping branches in the air...

Yeh I have 7 ents made up at the moment, with another two on the paint table and two more on the sculpt table. Trolls v ents is a battle I discussed only last week with my friend and colleague the dark rider. Once I get my dragon finished I hope to bash out the two ents that need painting before we start on the troll challenge.

Mad, I say. You are all mad!

I still remember laughing with my friends years ago at some tournament's restriction of two cave trolls per army. "As if anyone would own THREE trolls?!?" :-)

Turned out I'd lost my own Buhrdur so ordered one cheap on eBay and it's arrived today :)

Bring on February!
