Well it's my first post on One-Ring, I want to introduce you with my new project, the most laborious of all my projects. I'm going to build a fragment of Venice. I've created a visualization of the model. Wholeness will contain 3 buildings, a kind of park, square, roads, bridge and of course canals.

Visualization:

Now I want to show you the progress:

I ask you for advice what can I change in this model.

P.S. I'm from Poland, so please don't mind my language mistakes.

Welcome to the One Ring! That's quite an ambitious project. What is the intention for the piece? Do you intend to play games on it?

Yes you're right, i've forgotten about this question. So I think it would be hard to play on that model, but scale is enough for some small skirmishes

Looks cool, very much interested in seeing the finish product, but looks more for use as a diorama than it is gaming. Unless you intend on making multi-leveled interiors for the buildings to give more movement around the board/map. What is the scale of the map area (length x width in inches)?

I am really loving the way this looks. The way the painting complements the textures is very visually appealing imo.

Thanks for your opinions and comments. I've manage some time for work, and I made some progress. I made brick floor by putty/gypsum then I sculpt the brick on it, and then it was painted by drybrush metod. The size of diorama is :
length: 24,4'' x width : 12,5 ''
