I was just wondering if there is anyone from the North Scotland area for i know there are a few Scots about the site. I'm about an hours drive from Aberdeen which is probably the closest large city you might know of. If there is anyone just give me a call or a pm... doubt this will give any results but if so that'll be exciting.

Thank You

Hello Leinad, this sounds interesting. I play mostly Gondor but do have a large Isengard force too if needed. A game would be good, I'm not sure when though.

Hi again drumstick

Thanks for responding so quickly, I will be around for a while so just PM me when you are available for a game, and we'll work out the details.

Thanks,

Hey Drumstick I live about a 1 hour drive from Aberdeen too. I live in Forres near Elgin. I haven't got a decent size army yet and I've never played a game in my life (do more painting for fun) but I'm looking for someone to learn from. If your up for it give me a shout.

Cheers

Oh great stuff, this post is getting some good results! I'm pretty close to you actually - I live in Keith. What armies do you collect? I have Gondor and Isengard, a few far east models and some dwarves so I'm sure I could help you out on models if you were short. Just curious, what age group are you? Don't worry about the rules, they're easy to pick up once you have a match or two.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. Well I havent got a huge army but ive got quite a few Uruk-hai, goblins, cave troll, mordor troll, orcs. Mordor stuff really. Im 21 at the moment, I think there might be club in Elgin, or there was. I'll find out. How old are you?

Good stuff, that should be enough for a game. Yes there was a club in Elgin, I've had a few matches there with friends and it's a fairly active group. They are all Warhammer 40k players though, but there is around half a dozen of lotr players who come for a game with me from time to time. I heard the club has recently been moved to Mostodloch in the Scout hall, after the Red Shoes theater closed down. I'll check it out and see whats what. I'm 16 at the moment, and there's a chance that I'll probably have a friend along if thats all good?

Alright thats cool, I can get there. If you set the time and dates I'll get my gear together, then I could learn how to play this game haha, been painting for ages but never took the time to learn how to play haha. Suppose the bigger the crew we get together the better.

Ah darn that's annoying, If I wasn't busy I would have certainly been up for a game. I'm away down in Edinburgh watching the Scotland v Wales match. We could maybe arrange it for another time soon?

I'm scotland too!

@Morden: Where abouts near Glasgow are you?

All us Scottish players should all organize a game some time... probably never happen but it's a nice thought...

Hey Leinad I was wondering if you'd be interested in having a game in around 2 weeks or so. Just an idea because I'd pretty fancy having a game sometime. Also it nice to know some other people of the One-Ring and LotR community. The club has been moved to Mosstodloch and the club starts at 12:00 in the Scout Hall. I mark it on a google maps picture to show you where it is, because I have the feeling it doesn't show up on google maps.
