Participants:
Good:
Eldacar with Shield
Captain of Gondor with Shield
Ranger of the North
12 Warriors of Minas Tirith with Shields
12 Warriors of Minas Tirith with Shields and Spears

12 Gondorian Rebels with Shields and Spears
12 Gondorian Rebels with Bows
2 Gondorian Rebels with Banners

Objective:
Both sides are trying to destroy the other and control the city of Osgiliath. Both forces must reduce the enemy force to below 25% to win. If Castarmir or Eldacar are slain, the best that force can achieve is a draw, unless both are slain, in which case the victory conditions are normal.

The Starving of Osgiliath

The people of Osgiliath are starving, as Castarmir and his rebels launch repeated attacks against the loyalist’s. However, Eldacar’s son, Ornendil, gets the King’s permission to launch a raid on Castarmir’s supplies and help the people.

Participants:
Good:
Ornendil with Shield and Heavy Armour
Ranger of the North
6 Descendants of Númenór
8 Dúnedain of Gondor
4 Warriors of Minas Tirith with Shields and Spears
8 Warriors of Minas Tirith with Bows

Evil:
2 Rebel Captains
6 Rebel Dúnedain of Gondor with Bows
6 Rebel Dúnedain of Gondor with Spears and Shields
6 Rebel Dúnedain of Gondor with Shields
6 Gondorian Rebels with Shields
6 Gondorian Rebels with Shields and Spears
6 Gondorian Rebels with Bows

Objective:
Ornendil’s Warriors are attempting to get as many supplies as possible, whilst the Evil side will try and raise the alarm. One Warrior from the Evil Side must make it off the Southern Board Edge, after the alarm has been raised, for the Evil Side to win. The Good Side must prevent this. The game ends after 12 turns.

Deployment:
The game is played on a board 24”/56cm by 36”/84cm, with a camp placed on it, within 18”/42cm of the North-West Corner and lots of trees and forest’s. The Good Side deploys first within 18”/42cm of the South-East Corner. The Evil Side then deploys the Rebel Dúnedain inside the camp in pairs, with no pair closer than 3”/8cm to another pair.

Image

Special Rules:
Unaware:
The Evil Side is unaware of the raid on their supplies. The Good Side gets Priority on the first turn automatically. Also, all Rebel Dúnedain all follow these rules: The Rebel Dúnedain may not move until a Good Model is within 6”/14cm, also raising the alarm when this happen, which has an area effect of 6”/14cm. Whenever a Rebel Dúnedain is hit by an arrow but not slain, he raises the alarm. Any model within 6”/14cm of a Warrior that has raised the alarm may act normally, and will raise the alarm in the next turn, unless killed. If there are any tents within range of someone raising the alarm, 3 Evil models not yet played may move out of the tent.
In need: The Good Side must move as fast as possible towards the camp as they need supplies, and may not wait, except if they are armed with bows.
