I do believe he says, "Now for wrath, now for ruin and the red dawn. Forth Eorlingas!" but yeah, that is a cool part. :D my favorite part would probably be... ooh, hard one... the last charge of the Rohirrim. (I think that's how u spell it... )

The Hobbit's journey from Bree to Rivendell would be my favorite scenes. Pippin falling on his face in the Marshes is just great. :pippin:

The Shire in the beginning of the Extended Edition, and the look into the simple rustic Hobbit life.

Would have liked to have the Scouring in the end. But I also enjoyed the heroes returning and finding a big pumpkin is bigger news to their countrymen than Sauron's defeat.

One of my favorite scenes is for a silly reason. It is the scene when Boromir is dying and Aragon is leaning over him listening to his last words. It is not one of my favorites because of the content, but because of the filming error I noticed watching it once.

Image
Boromir's right hand is on Aragon's shoulder.

Image
Boromir's right hand is NOT on Aragon's shoulder.

As you watch the exchange between Boromir and Aragon, you will notice that Boromir's right hand is on Aragon's shoulder when looking at Aragon, but not when you are looking at Boromir.

I know, it is silly. But I find it funny that one of the best movie franchies ever that spent so much time on small details and every little thing could still make a simple little mistake.

How about the Last March of the Ents?

I really liked the Battle of Pelennor Fields, particularly Theoden, King's speech in the Return of the King.

"Ride now! Ride for ruin and the world's ending! Death!"

In the second movie I enjoyed watching the Easterling battle column march through the Black Gates. In the first movie I like the battle of Balin's Tomb because I like dead goblins....

It has to be the entire Fighting Uruk-Hai from TTT EE particularly when when Merry is given that orc draught. Would love it to have been more accurate to the book (one of my fave bits from the book) but what a great line 'I'm Starving.....'. Just sums up Orcs!

Balins' Tomb, Ambush at Amon-Hen and March of the Ents are some of my personal favourites.

Yeah I agree with you, those are some of my favourites aswell! :D I also like the battle of Helm's Deep though.. except for the elves but oh well.. I'm thinking of doing a diorama of the march of the ents one day.. Just so expensive, I'll be needing 3 ents or maybe even adding Treebeard.. Let's just wait what the future will bring us.. (:
