Recently, I started painting up some of my old Haradrim and repainted my Khand, so I thought I'd share with you my work so far, there are some things that still need pictures of, including a Khandish Charioteer. I have other miniatures on my website (link in signature) as well as how I painted the Khand and Harad Warriors.

Khandish Chieftain:

Harad Spearmen:

The first 6:

The army so far:

I'm still undecided about a banner design so all ideas are welcome.

Chris.

Mega Update (well, sort of, but there's lots of pictures and my chariot (some of which aren't cropping, even though I did crop them :? )):

Chariot:

Haradrim King on Horse:

Khandish Chieftain on Horse (I just added a bit of Greenstuff):

Haradrim Banner Bearer or King on Foot:

I still need a design for the banner.

I like the colour scheme. Effective and simple. For the banner maybe a red serpent?

Looking good mate. I really like the chariot model itself and yours looking great.

Not a bad idea, although I'll until I have more ideas/suggestions before I go ahead, this also ties them to my Serpent Horde army (seems like a better idea every minute)

Any other suggestions for the banner design?

nice stuff u got there. I would suggest to add some shadows on the clothing - with a wash. (i think the shadows i see are from the light? right?)

Not really, a serpent would probably be best, look best, fit in best, and be pretty easy to paint. Though Maybe you could do something different than the usual snake they have, maybe something more like the snake all coiled up... just an idea. I really like the yellow color scheme. 8)

There are shadows, I just think the light makes them look too bright, as it was really bright when I took the pictures.

Thanks, I've decided I'm going to have the Red Eye at the top of the banner, than a snake beneath it.

I took a break from my Khand/Harad army, as I don't have any super glue to put together the Khand models (although I could still work on the Harad, but I prefer to paint them together). After spending a few evenings working on converting my Goblins, here they are, although they still need repainting (yay, lots and lots of Goblins...), and I hope they inspire others to convert their Goblins.

P.S. I did crop them but it doesn't seemed to have worked...

You can never trust a goblin!

Love the conversions. Wish I had thought of that before finishing my goblin hoardes.

Very nice goblins. The one thing I can't stand about them normally is that they look too uniform, but you've countered thatt to great effect.

Loving the models in this thread, great painting.

I LOVE your Goblins, I only have twelve Goblins and a Durburz at the moment in my collection but those Goblins make me want more! :D

Thanks for the kind comments :D been working on my Chaos Daemons a bit recently, as well as deciding what I want to paint next, maybe my converted Dunlendings or repainting the Goblins, so stay tuned.

I like how you've converted the goblins. They look like scavengers now stealing whatever they can to arm themselves. Nice touch :)

Nice Goblins. I just bought the LOTR paint set (got it cos it had good selection of paints and a brush) and was surprised to see I got 12 goblins so might convert a few. I just bought 8 armoured Gobbos off ebay as well so I feel a Misty Mountains moment (perhaps even a Misty Mountains Hop for the Led Zep fans!)

This is how I started off in the hobby. Good models in there. Looking forward to see any work on them.
