Wait, you varnish the plain metal, then undercoat him?
Might I ask why?

his base is resin, and with a quick coat of dulcote it helps the black undercoat stick and it wont flake off :) old mate taught me that

Looks awesome Matt! May I ask where you got the base from or if you made it yourself?

Cyndra you really improved painting in the last months. Altough the base is very flat.

Thanks very much 8)

hero of gondor: Thank you, I have to agree about the base, I'll give it another drybrush.

GtW: Cheers, that's a very nice compliment

I might enter this one. I need some motivation to get started with painting again, so who knows, this might be it?

I just hope I get time over the next week or so to do so.

Sure thing feel free to post them up here or in your WIP thread if it'll help you decide. Just as long there is a clear decision as to which one you're entering by the deadline :)

I won't have the time to enter (just like the few previous months, sadly enough), too busy with all sorts of things.

I think it'll be a very active month again this time, probably because of the holidays...
Some very nice figs already and looking forward to see the others in progress!

On Jake's request I've created a separate place on the forum for this great event every month! So from now on, every month we should have three new topics in this section: one to vote for the figure to paint, one to advert and the WIP, and a final one to vote for the winner!
