little bit hard to explain, i started out witouth storyboard and scenario. So i did some improvisation and drew it one by one. It became something like this:
A forest guard almost squishes a weird potato like creature one day. There are many of those and they like candy. They get killed by the natural guard of the forest the fox. The forest guard finds them all killed. Then the cropses get sold by rat like creatures to a witch who happen to sell candy in the local store. The witch makes evil candy of it - if kids eat it they turn into ginger bread cookies. The mother of one of those children eats her own child. Her tummy is filled with the love for her child by eating it.
Uhm yes that's about it.

I have wrote almost 90 pages... Almost two days left as then I will get many minis and also I will have to paint Uruks and Lurtz(I hope I can upload pictures)

Just noticed this topic. Now my novel can be found in thousands of places. Sometimes a page or ten written down on paper, then another page or ten in a word doc. I ticked 'finished but not published', but I'm sure that when I now try to gather it, I'll change hundreds of things in the story. Happend before.
Now there are some questions I'd like to ask my fellow OR novelists.
1) Where and when do you get 'inspired' to write some pages for your novel ? Or do you just sit down and say: "Now I gonna wright something down!"
2) Is it visible you were inspired by lotr (I think we all were) ?
3) What was your main idea / character ?
4) What races does it include (uruks/wargs/halflings ?!)

No, I'm not some sort of intervieuwer who's gonna make money with this when you've published your books!

1) I just write pages every day and if I am not I am gonna write more another day(It's something like a program)

3)My main idea was about a company who want to keep the age of epace(No war for some hudnred years...and that's rare!) but the evil guys want to call back the strongest evil creatures to destroy them althought they can't die...
Now I ahve many main characters(more than 10+) but mostly the story is absed around two of them:Orodis and Aranel
4)As I said orc,goblins,elves,men,dwarves,trolls but also some of mine...

1) After long boring hiking trips, my mind wants to do something... And starts imagening things. At the end I'm telling the exact story (exact= litteraly how I'm gonna write it) to myself.
2) 1st Main idea: The exact mx of an evil basement and Lotr
Now: World without humans is ruled by the last remaining human, who uses despair to create sorcery. In this demension, it is the year 2547 and the world is in chaos. Rebellions are everwhere. Vincent, a guy who's parents where killed by communist rebells, accidentely finds himself waking up in Morannia (the other world). He must help the remainents of The Old Kingdoms in their battle against Morgoths Legions (comes from 'mor', as I explained - Yes I know, looks like Morgoroth, but the fact is that I never remember it's MorgoROth, so I choose Morgoth as the name of my evil guy). The story also includes lots of Mythology
3) Main idea: a guy from the future has to help creatures in a unknown world.
4) Includes goblins (main race), elves, dwarfs (evil and good), orcs (goblins infected by evil sorcery), trolls (mutated and not), wolves, dragons (some speak in an ancient nature language)

I also believe that in a novel count very much phrases that would remain as quotes. Here is one:
"Who can shield himself against the blades of dead?"- The grey wizard(Name not found yet)
