Wildmen of Dunland banner ideas...Help!

I have converted one of my dunlending wildmen to carry a banner but am stuck as to what i can use as an emblem on the banner itself any ideas much apperciated

I believe that wolves have been used in the past. Any sort of martial element, like crossed swords or axes would work. You could also look at viking imagery for ideas.

I too have been thinking of what to have on the banner. Do I use the white hand or do I use an emblem such as the crebain or crow? I was thinking of using a running wolf or a raven as well as the ghostly white hand for those in the service of Saruman

I vote for wolf head. Paint an agressive emblem, wolf head with a lot of teeth. Draw the elements seperatly, leave some space between them, and then it will look awsome. I think white-hand concept is ok, use a black banner, and paint the wolf head with white.
Paint it carefully, if you mistake, use black for correction. Use a thiny brush, like 00. Paint it 2-3 times, cause for the first white wont cover perfect on black surface.

If you ask me, I can design a flag image for you.

I think i'm going with a wolf skull on this banner - i'm using the warhammer skeletons banner for my conversion, i don't no if your familiar with it but its really thin and torn up with numerous holes in it so it won't hold an elaborate design i don't think. I am going to do a second wildman banner using a different banner conversion so any design ideas with a wolfs skull or head would be most welcome . I would post pics of my work so far but have no idea how to do it.

no it wasnt tomb kings it was from the undead boxset...it should probably still fit

I have finally finished my Wildmen banner bearer and worked out how to post pics.... Thanks for all your help with the design and yes its supposed to be a wolf though it looks kinda like a cat but hey i'm happy with it.

Looks great! The pictures are a bit small, they don't seem to be resizeable (the text at the bottom makes me think they are supposed to be?). If you're struggling with pictures try using Photobucket, it's free and simple to use. Here's a quick tutorial on posting images using Photobucket if it helps.

No problem, all you have to do to make it an image as opposed to a link to the image is add the [ IMG ] tags to the link, or just copy the IMG code link Photobucket supply you with. Unless the images are too big to post on here without corrupting the screen, in which case leave it as a link

The white outline is a really great contrast to the red banner,
