If you can get hold of it, Testors Dullcote is a great option for a spray matt varnish, if not the best. Good job with the base.

No, don't be so hard on yourself, it's just the look of all those browns and reds that make that poor dwarf look so rusty! :-)

Nice alternative shield for Eorl. As for the sculpting, just remember to keep the greenstuff and the tools wet all the time during sculpting, it is crucial to do so to be able to work with the putty properly. I'm afraid I don't know much else about the sculpting side of the hobby as I only usually use greenstuff to fill in gaps on my minis.

I think the layer of greenstuff wasn't thick enough - i am going to try to correct it tomorrow or now - dunno if it's dryd up already
Then the witch king - broke it when cleaning the basecoat of.. but i think it's a good oppurtunity to convert him
Image
It's to heavy to glue anyways

That's a battered looking Witch King. Good luck with the fixing.

As for the greenstuffing, the body doesn't look very big at the moment anyway so you could probably leave it like that and just add more layers over it.

Jup that's what i did :) layer over it - still need one on the back to - i hope i am making him thick enough - rather keep him thinner and add layers above it then to thick ..
Image
Yeah couldn't strip the paint decently but i think it will be fine once basecoated. I am waiting for some glue to fix an engineer and the witchkings sword. If i have greenstuff leftovers from sculpting i will fix the flail

made some time to sculpt
Image
I think it will become a bit bigger then a regular dwarf.. In some way i always make bigger sculpts then they should be.. But i think it might be acceptable .
did the second leg this morning
