abolutley number 2!

The first one was good, most of all the campaigns, but the world builder had almost no options and it got sorta boring when u could only build where the game allowed u to...

the campaign in BFME2 sucks, but the game is cool ( most of all with the expansion...) and the world builder and Map.Ini possibilites are immense!

I haven't played BfME 2 but the first one got a bit annoying as there wasn't much you could do with the very limited troop types and the troop limitation was waaaay too low which was also irritating.

Probably bfme2. O' course, the game screws with my computer, so I don't get on it that much...

BFME II is a legend among LOTR games. BFME was good, but its sequel easily superseded it and every other PC strategy game, except maybe Rome: Total War.

BFME2 beats BFME in gameplay, but the campaign was very short and signifcantly less open: I MISS THE WORLD MAP & THE ARMIES

omg, i can't remember the last time i played bfme2, I downloaded the rotwk mod and it made it so much cooler, adding a couple more factions to enhance the variety of gameplay.

ROTWK definately makes the game so much better so ive been told, but it is a fair amount of money extra which i don't like so since i havent played 1 it has to be 2 even with the poor campaign

bfme2, i got all 3 games off of a friend at the end of summer for cheap, the first one is alright but the second one is much better with variation. however rise of the witch king is definately the one i play most.

very nice... I would like a worldbuilder where you can chose in which area the scenario is( The oens in single-player) and not be too complicated to put objectives... :-D

I prefer BFME1. It had so much more of a middle earth feeling to it and although it did get boring after a while, it's so much better than that fantasy game that they just dub LOTR onto. Dwarf battlewagons. I rest my case.

I second that. Battle for Middle Earth II Rise of the Witch-king Expansion is amazing, the Angmar factions is lovely as are the extra perks to each other faction and the campaign. :)

Hilbert and Gothmog, the member who made this thread was banned for plagiarism of another member's work. so I would advise to not dwell on this topic too much :)

2 things: -There aren't any options in the poll
-Please put capslock off

My preferred would be BFME 2, because it has more variation in factions and units then BFME, and also it's not like getting the Witch-King is auto-win to Mordor.

It is decide, not 'DISIDE'.

If anyone says anything other than BFMEII then they probably haven't heard of it, it far surpasses (except for mistakes like Glorfy's hair, the W-K's power, and because all the Dwarves are cheesy).

Gamewise BFME2 is alot better but BFME1 has an extremely big middle earth feel to it. Which is why I like it better. I'm not a huge gamer so I don't get bored too easily.
