What's the worst thing you've ever eaten?

This morning I was challenged by my buddies. They bet me 30 pounds that I could not eat an entire lemon without throwing up. Of course, there isn't much I won't try if the price is right so I accepted, and successfully completed the challenge much to their annoyance. The peel was the hardest part, but I'm sure some of you lot must have eaten worse?

I've eaten a piece of cow intestine at a restaurant in Korea...didn't taste too bad actually, it was grilled on a small BBQ and then I dipped it in some salt and sesame seeds.

bugs and other flying insects....
On my way from work to home, when I take my bicycle, I'm passing a beautiful but nasty bog... If I dare to breath through my mouth, I usually get some proteins straight to my tongue... they leave a terrible nasty taste.

Other then that, the worst thing must definitely have been a spoon of cod liver oil, aswell as just liver (the smell only of baking liver makes me throw up...), and some things I'll never learn to eat like vinegar, mustard (which basically tastes like vinegar) and wasabi (which basically tastes like concentrated vinegarized mustard to me...)

Oh, and to end the list... Heineken is the worst of all! It's smell only reminds me to a wet dog which hasn't had a wash for several months... bwak.

Mushrooms- They are so distasteful to me that the first time I eat one I throw up( I eat another time soem eyars ago to give it another shot but it was the last time as it had the same result)...

I agree with Hilbert, both on the point on everyone having different tastes and that mushroomms taste horrible. However, the thing I have eaten that I hate the most was tuna pasta - it was tthe single worst thing ever that I was ever coerced into eating! Yuk!

But the worst thing I've ever eaten (that is classed as "food") is probably blue-vein cheese - who was it that first decided it was edible? "Mmm, that smells like an unflushed toilet! I think I'll eat it."

agreed that stuffs pretty mingin too
