Hi folks
Not sure if you have checked the Perry Miniatures site recently:
http://www.perry-miniatures.com/index.php
There is a paragraph on the homepage that caught my attention:
As you can see we both work from comfy chairs rather than a workbench as such. Michael’s just doing the last checks to ‘3ups’ of the WOTR mounted men-at-arms whilst I’m working on some metal 1814 Paris National Guard.

Looks like there might be some stuff before the Hobbit?

nice, looks good however if they are going to be in finecast (which is most likely) they will probably be too expensive for me.
still. good to see some LOTR news regarding new releases!

"3 Up" is a stage of plastic injection mold design.

I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet, for the Perrys "WOTR" probably stands for War of the Roses...

They definately will not be for War of the Ring, unfortunatly for you, they don't even have a profile in the 1st place.

If they were for LOTR (which they are NOT), then the mounted ones just wouldn't have pikes, they don't automatically come with them in SBG.

The page has been removed from the Perry site, i cant find it any more, maybe it is a new GW release they put up by mistake?
I do hope so.

I hope not, They have a contract not to reveal anything. So if some GW fan boy Pimped them out, there is far more trouble than it is worth.

For War of the Roses it makes complete sense (ie men at arms did ride horses), for War of the Ring, NO SENSE

SO summary, its for Roses.

He is as old as he feels... so roughly 1240 as he feels like an elf
