Thanks gothmog. And yes if anyone has any info please post it. I want MM army but dont want to start unless the finecast will come out very soon or so far into the future I cant wait and have to buy a metal one. However if the finecast comes out in a few months then

i dont know. Anways I shouldnt be so selfish gw can bring out the finecast when they want.

I remember there being a conversation about vault wardens. It was all about since all other bliseters have changed from 3 men to 4 men, people were wondering if they would be 2 teams per packet.

Does anyone here by any chance collect alot of finecast, and has the situation improved in terms of quantities of miscasts?

Fall of the Necromancer is an official sourcebook released years ago, now discontinued), the designs within were not influenced by the Hobbit film which had not at that time been planned. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Peter Jackson has just release #4 video on the Hobbit on Face Book, it should be on U tube by now.Lots of cool visual clues there.

I never go on Facebook, haven't been on since July, and prior that small occasion, I had not been on for over a year.

If them eejits at GW had released it first instead of that hideous and lame mockery of a wraith they have the wit to call 'the dark marshal' i would've bought him, but i got tired of waiting and converted my own instead. that's £20.50 they could've got off me if they weren't eejits.

You don't like the Dark Marshal model (in general)? I think he looks the coolest out of all the named Wraiths, except WK of course. For some reason he reminds me of those artist interpretations of the Witchking, the ones before the films were released or maybe during.

Isn't Dark Marshal one of the most sought out after named wraith? That would explain a lot for being converted to finecast first along with many other popular models. Here's some John Howe pics of his pre-film imagined Witchking, and you'll see where the inspiration for the Dark Marshal comes from:

I love the Dark Marshall. I actually dont mind any of the named wraiths, I only dont like a few of their names.

Some of the named wraiths though don't look like anything special apart from the unamed counterparts. You just get one hooded with a raised staff, another is slouching, etc. At least Dark Marshal, Shadowlord, and Knight of Umbar(?) depart somewhat more away from the original unamed concept.
