Hello to you all. I try to make a formation of SKODA on foot (two units) by using whatever leftovers I have.
Any comment is welcome.

Nice use of alternative minis for some of the SKoDA. I like the metallics and the emblems on the shields too. Good work batpan 8)

Good way of making the men of Numenor come in handy considering it cost a fortune to pick up a metal blister of foot SKoDA.

I like the colors. It's original compared to the blue and white you always see.
I think the skin could use a little more depth to it but otherwise, it looks great.

Edit:
Just read your page and saw that you plan to add the blue. :( Oh well. Look forward to see the end results. 8)

Thanks a lot for your comments. :) I haven't finished the project yet, so, I post the same WIP from another angle.
The real reason why I did this, it was to keep the cost low! Secondly to match my Imrahil and his three warriors to something else
to reach number 16 for a formation. Anyway, the photos:

It's a shame the Swan Knights are bigger than the Numenoreans, other than that they blend in very nice!
Nice project! 8)

That's why I converted some swords to spears. I wanted to give short Numenoreans some height.
Something like an illusion to the eye. If still annoys you, it means that I failed. Lets hope that the
blue bright colours will help more than this trick.

It could just be that the swan knights are wearing heavier armour, taller helms that makes them look bigger 8)

they look really nice :) Are you going to base the movement tray as that would make the whole formation look better :)

Thanks for the comments. King Elessar 2615 you are right about the trays, I have to base them. The photos were blurred, so I took some new. Here are the photos and also the new WIP "Minas Tirith Archers". I hope it would not take so long as the previous time with the SKoDA. One of them will be the formation Captain with new bare head, cloak, etc. Wish me luck!

Nice use of soldiers of Numenor.

This is not your fault at all, but what makes me shudder is the horrible size differences between the SKODA and plastic Numenorians.

It does my head in. Reminds me of fielding my Royal guards along with my plastic warriors of Rohan.
