Cool is all I was going for...do I care if he cuts parts from his own body? Na. :-D

Just so long as it isn't his beard, he wouldn't either.

And here's my finish product finally. The camera makes it more colorful than it actually is for whatever reason or it could be just my monitor.

So if I put this right next to my Balrog in the display case, will it melt because it's a Frost Dragon or because it's Finecast?

Excellent painting on the dragon Sacrilege. The wings look great. I like how you've made certain areas like the mouth, wings and belly look warmer.

So you sculpted that? It looks very good, hope to see it done. Is that the same size as the Lotr Dragon?

And thanks to everyone for their compliments.

Nice dragon, but erkenbrand did not sculpt the drago, it is the first model that comes with the first magazine in the 'Beasts and Beings' partworks, the 1st costs £2.99, I know because i have all 40 of them, and one of the later ones is an actual ice dragon (but costs twice as much), otheres are werewolf, ogre, vamppire, goblin, orc, centaur etc.

As Gothmog says this was a dragon I bought for a fraction of what the GW dragons costs, just changing a few of the facial details amongst other things. Think he will be a bit boring compared to multi-coloured one DM did.. lol

So these models are pre-painted and pewter? That would seem to be quite a good deal.

I think they are made from some kind of resin, pretty tough to saw through (although the horns came off easy enough). What I did find was that the horns were connected by wire, so they were probably attached by hand. It comes holding an egg  so it could either be chiselled off or filled over. There might be one or two on Ebay, otherwise you could try googling the magazine and see what comes up :)

It only costs £2.99 if you got it from the manufacturers.

The only ones that you could attempt to use for LOTR are Dragon / Ice Dragon (as Dragon), Wyvern / Sea Serpent (as Cave Drake), Cyclops / Ogre (as Stone Giant), maybe one or two others, the rest are way off on scale. Also, every one except the Dragon cost twice as much RRP.
