Wish I would have had time to do my Uruk Hai On Ice diorama. Came up with the concept when I got my first box of plastic Uruk Hai Scout...some of the ones with sword but no shield really looked like they could be skating. The right paint job, a little work with some styren for skates and the proper base. Oh well...there's always next year.

Sounds like a great idea, Beowulf, but I didn't know there was enough snow in Isengard...

It is just south of Caradhras. Maybe Caradhras got mad at Saruman at some point and sent a blizzard to Isengard.

I plan on entering, so that'll be another entry. The only problem is that I've changed my entry idea three times already. And my current idea relies on techniques I'm unfamiliar with. But what else is a challenge for eh?

Well I was planning on entering but I currently lack the supplies and haven't the time to build and paint my idea before the month is finished. I might be able to paint a model quickly next week with a snowy base, but it wouldn't be the same.

Sorry to hear that Jake, but there's always next month (looking like Gimli up to his neck in snow by the way the votes are pouring in there) :P

Bilbo - just seen your completed entry! Very nice job, the eyes make him look fearsome!

I need to find some stuff to take paint off old minis to be able to start this challenge. After that, then hopefully I can finish it before the end.
Don't worry. I'll find some way to get in this month.

Probably not, considering I am still sculpting--I'm going to turn the wheels into snowflakes. But I can give it a go, I'm going to be pulling an all nighter tonight to finish the sculpting and getting the priming done to paint a bit tomorrow.
