I like the converted archer captain. Simple but adds some uniqueness to your army. Are you thinking of actually changing his stats or just keeping him as a normal trooper?

Hilbert, Chris, Jake and Drum thank you all, I appreciate your comments very much. I am planning to decorate the bases. I always do, just it is the last thing to complete the miniature. This time I will decorate the trays as well. About the stats: "Gondor in Flames" has stats for Captain who carries a bow. You can choose bow instead of a shield (as the original Captain of GW has). The additional cost is the same for both, the shield or the bow. "WotR" has the Minas Tirith Archers formation where the command company may include a Captain of Minas Tirith with a bow, because "Heroes are always considered to have the same wargear as the troops with which they fight". Now, my Captain has the same gear. So, no problem, stats exist.

That's it. Minas Tirith Archer Captain as well as the whole Archers Formation are done. Please be free for any commend. I have two more Formations to paint, one with swords, one with spears. So, your comments are welcome and important. :)

The finished basing finishes them off perfectly. Well done.

Thank you all for your comments. Today was a sunny day and I grabed the chance to take a photo of Minas Tirith Archers under natural light. My next project is Minas Tirith Warriors. I already have a converted Hornblower (he is the second from the left). I will convert also a spearman to a banner-bearer (the third from the left). Finally, the leader of the formation will be Boromir. Here you can see the photos:

The hornblower looks good from what I can see and I look forward to seeing how the banner conversion progresses. As for the archers, their armour looks much better in the natural light.
